IP-ADDR-01
What happened
This message covers any UltraCart system message about IP addresses, both unauthorized and blocked. UltraCart requires IP addresses to be authorized, and it blocks an address after repeated failed login attempts to limit brute force password attacks.
- If your IP address is unauthorized, follow the steps below to authorize it.
- If your IP address is blocked, email support@ultracart.com and ask for the block to be lifted, then follow the steps below if you still need to. If the block happened because you forgot your password, having it lifted is enough. If the block is because a remote service of yours is not authorized, authorize the IP address that the server runs on.
What to do
Authorize the IP address that UltraCart sees, which may differ from the address your server reports because of proxies, routers, and cloud services in between.
tip
The UltraCart error message always contains the IP address in question. Whitelist that exact address, not the one your server thinks it has.
