What happened

A test credit card was used on the order, and that test card is configured not to charge in real time. UltraCart adds this note so the order history explains why the order was routed to Accounts Receivable instead of being charged at checkout.

TEST-NFO-01: This order was not charged in real-time during the checkout because it was a test payment.

This note appears both on new orders placed at checkout and on auto order rebills, so you may see it on a recurring order as well as an initial one.

Was the customer charged?

No. The test card skipped the real-time charge by design, and the order sits in Accounts Receivable.

What to do

If this was a genuine test, no action is needed. If a real customer order landed here by mistake, check the payment method and the test card settings that control real-time processing. Adjust which cards are treated as test cards, and how they handle payment processing, in your payment configuration.
