PMA Fulfillment FAQ

This FAQ covers questions that come up about the integration between UltraCart and PMA Fulfillment.

Q: How do I use FedEx: Ground Economy (formerly SmartPost) or UPS: Mail Innovations?

A: UltraCart does not have the ability to internally estimate these two shipping methods, but you can create custom methods named exactly "FedEx: SmartPost" or "UPS: Mail Innovations" and UltraCart will pass the corresponding shipping codes "SMARTP" and "UPSMI" over to PMA Fulfillment.

Q: My order ids are too long for PMA to accept. What do I need to change?

It's a simple change. Navigate to Main Menu -> Configuration -> Order ID scheme. Change it from date/time based to sequential. We recommend picking a starting number of 10000 and a width of 8.
