Configuration steps to send postcards using Storefront Communications flows (and campaigns.)

Steps

Creating a Postcard Flow

1. Navigate to StoreFront Communications:

   • Log in to your UltraCart account.

   • Go to the main menu and select StoreFronts.

   • Click on Communications and then Flows.

2. Create a New Flow:

   • Click on New Flow to start creating a new communication sequence.

   • Name your flow and set any optional parameters such as scheduling.

3. Add a Postcard Step:

   • In the flow editor, add a new step.

   • Select Postcard as the type of step.

   • Customize the content of the postcard using the StoreFront Visual Builder. Note that the area where the address and postage are located is blocked from editing.

4. Configure Postcard Settings:

   • Due to the cost associated with mailing postcards ($0.65 per postcard), a dry-run option is available. This allows you to render the postcard without actually mailing it, and copies will be emailed to you as PDF attachments for testing purposes.

5. Save and Activate the Flow:

   • Once you are satisfied with the postcard design and settings, save the flow.

   • Activate the flow to start sending postcards based on the triggers you have set (e.g., abandoned carts, order processing).

Sending Postcards in Campaigns

1. Navigate to Campaigns:

   • In the StoreFront Communications section, click on Campaigns.

2. Create a New Campaign:

   • Click on New Campaign to start creating a new campaign.

   • Name your campaign and set any optional parameters such as scheduling.

3. Add a Postcard Step:

   • In the campaign editor, add a new step.

   • Select Postcard as the type of step.

   • Customize the content of the postcard using the StoreFront Visual Builder.

4. Configure Campaign Settings:

   • Select the lists and segments you want to target with your campaign.

   • Optionally, exclude certain lists or segments if needed.

5. Save and Send the Campaign:

   • Once you are satisfied with the postcard design and settings, save the campaign.

   • Click View and Send to start the campaign and send postcards to the selected customers.

By following these steps, you can effectively use Storefront Communications flows and campaigns to send postcards to your customers.
